      Aug 2013 - May 2015

I attended all class lectures for a particular General Chemistry professor, took notes, and acted as a model student for those currently in the course. I planned and led non-remedial study sessions to help students retain information and succeed in a traditionally difficult course. I planned group activities that allowed students to collaborate with their peers outside of class, discuss readings and notes, and share ideas. I worked one-on-one with students or with small groups to assist with problematic areas in the curriculum. I assisted with test preparation, working through homework problems, and general content review. I assisted the Lab Instructor with ensuring lab safety. I monitored the students and intervened when necessary to help facilitate compliance and better understanding of lab procedures.
