I also wrote the U13 scheme of work for the squad for the 2014/15 season.During my time I was one of the only coaches to carry out reviews with players and to have a full structure for the year. I started as the assistant head coach of the U13 girls before being promoted to head coach.

      This role required me to work with grassroots football coaches in their own environment to help them develop their skills, knowledge and confidence when working with their players.I was also asked to pilot a more specific mentor programme and took on a role as a women and girls mentor focusing on getting more female coaches in the game and supporting them. As part of this I created a female coaching network across Northamptonshire and supported brand new coaches as well as experienced coaches. Show less I lead a team of staff within the FA Skills Programme over 3 counties to deliver excellent football opportunities to 5-11 year olds. We also help primary school teachers develop in their delivery of PE lessons.I have aimed to develop the skills of my team and worked to improve performance through different motivational strategies and team days. I have had to identify training needs with my staff and support them through their development. This may be through formal courses, CPD events that we have organised or through taking up roles within the team to help them develop certain skills.During this time I have also led on girls football events in the local area and supported in service events. I have supported national events such as the SSE wildcats training in 2017 and 2018 and oversaw the quality development visits across the Midlands. I also supported the initial training day for the first round of Active Literacy Through Storytelling tutors and Game of Our Own training for young leaders.In 2018 I led a group of staff from across different organisations and departments on the SSE Wildcats training days and delivered a theory session on fundamental movement skills. I had to help design an effective learning experience for the delegates and facilitate reflection discussions within the team of staff.       My main role as the Head of Girls Talent Pathway is to oversee the smooth running of the Northamptonshire FA Advanced Coaching Centre and Advanced Player Development Centre.       Active New Communities Workforce Coordinator

      My role was to recruit and manage the workforce in our Active New Communities project. This project aimed to keep people active when they moved to a new community and to help new residents to feel part of the community.My role involved recruiting, training and supporting the workforce from community groups to professional sports/fitness providers. To do this I would work with a number of key stakeholders such as district councils, schools, councillors, housing developers/builders, community engagement officers and affordable housing providers.I also oversaw the marketing and communications for our project during this time, building and maintaining the project website and social media accounts. I supported the collation of data and gathering resident opinions to design an appropriate programme for the residents to engage with.I designed a project to try to get more people active and help keep them active during the new year called Active New Me. This project included identifying funding opportunities and applying for them. I was successful in receiving funding to run 2 large events in our 2 biggest communities which involved running a number of taster sessions across different sport and fitness activities. Those who attended were then informed of further regular opportunities and supported into an activity that suited them. If they were to drop out then we supported them into a further activity.       This role oversaw the delivery of a comprehensive and appropriate coach development programme, maintaining a good relationship with our Cambridge Regional College, supporting the FA Coach Mentor Programme, FA courses and CPD events. I also oversaw the development of futsal, youth male football and the girls Advanced Coaching Centre.During my time within this role I reduced the number of learners who had not yet completed their FA Level 1 in the county from over 100 to approximately 30. I set up a futsal advisory group, to bring together everyone in the county with a keen interest in futsal and look to put a plan in place. I applied for grants to support this futsal plan across the season.I implemented a number of safety and safeguarding measures into the coach education programme, working with the designated safeguarding officer on this.I developed a coach development plan to include a female coaches support group, a coaches academy for level 1 and 2 coaches and a full CPD event in conjunction with different partners. I worked with our FA County Coach Developer and other providers to ensure that this programme supported The FA and our key objectives.I oversaw the trials process of the girls Advanced Coaching Centre and ran a Next Generation Festival for new under 7 teams for the upcoming season to take part in.
