      Sept 2008 - Jun 2014
      Analog Design Engineer

      • Part of the Digital Audio design team for audio Codecs• Five years as member of the design team for microphone pre-amplifiers, initially ECM based, most recently pre-amplifiers for MEMs microphones.• ASIC design lead on a new microphone product from April 2013 to October 2013. Coordinated work from 6 designers in several different sites, Shanghai, Slovakia and Denmark. Interfaced to broader design team in US responsible for entire module design (MEMs element + packaging)• Have worked on a number of different design projects. Designed several analog blocks as well as gaining an understanding of system level operation. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Approach every task in a systematic and organized manner.• Developed a pre-amp with a very linear and well-defined temperature coefficient to cancel the temperature/gain coefficient of a microphone element. IC is now being sold in large quantities.• Worked as part of team developing a high sound pressure level, (140dBSPL), high dynamic range microphone pre-amp. Produced an on time, working solution.• Designed a pre-amp with high Power Supply Rejection (PSR). Pinpointed probable limitations of PSR performance in the design. Improved and redesigned circuits as necessary to increase PSR performance to a very high level without increasing circuit area or noise of design. Show less
