      Primary responsibilities include operations of the University Center, conference center facility, which is open seven days a week and head supervision of campus setups and Setups Team. Coordination of the University Center building construction and renovation projects, inventory of the departmental audio-visual equipment, computers and building furnishings. Develop marketing materials and approve all advertisement for the conference center. Organize the coordination of off-campus rentals using campus facilities which includes: tours of the facility, event needs assessment, community coordination, room layout design and billing. Coordination of the University Center operating hours with the dining facilities and other campus entities located in the building. Maintain the UC computer lab in coordination with Information Technology. Prepare and supervise student personnel budgets for the department. Report facilities maintenance to Plant Operations and coordinate the scheduling of the same. Develop on-call weekend staff schedule for the University Center; hire, train, supervise, and evaluate professional staff and student personnel. Schedule and approve all University Center events, oversee University Center reservation problems and issues, design room diagrams for large programs on specialized computer software. Another major responsibility of this position is the planning and production of special events, which requires working closely with Catering, Event Services staff, student organizations, departments, administration, and the community. Wrote Hiring manuals, and hired a student staff to start the program. Provide leadership, assistance with manual labor, and supervision for the setup and breakdown of University events. Have control and knowledge of all equipment inventory, its maintenance, and assembly used for events, including: chairs, tables, vehicles, forklift, trailers, podiums, grills, signage, floor tarp, and staging. Use R-25 event reservation system to approve and schedule events, use a state purchasing card, approve employees using ADP for payroll, and BANNER. Accountable for all purchases for Event Setups and monitoring the programs annual budget. Have developed close working relationships with the Event Services staff, catering, student organizations, departments, administration, and community.
