  • My duties include supporting our local stores with training, motivating and driving sales through establishing daily habits that lead to success, planning and implementing strategies for events and coaching managers to lead their businesses as owners. • I have assisted in several acquisitions, three of which were in my market. During these acquisitions I was responsible for various duties including merchandising, organizing staffing, on boarding teachers and introducing them to our culture, fostering a team atmosphere with M&A employees during long days and train staff to help assimilate the former owners’ customers into M&A customers. • Building an effective team with my managers and employees is something I am very passionate about. We continually have contests within our district, against neighboring districts and are active participants in company wide challenges. Some of our most popular contests have been Crushmas, Jonny Bucks, and any competition where we put the championship belt on the line. We have created a team name, Sales Team Six and take pride in our ability to continually be a dominant force in competitions. • Runner up in the 2nd annual Retail Red Zone Challenge and champion in the first ever Retail Red Zone Challenge. • In 2018 I was awarded DM of the year. Show less • My duties included making a schedule, phone screening candidates for teaching and sales associates, assigning tasks to store staff, establishing and motivating staff to achieve sales and lesson goals along with many other day to day activities. • I spent my time in store focused on training and teaching my employees sales basics, product knowledge and honing our customer service skills to accommodate the varied needs of our diverse customer base. • Because of our success in 2012 with instrument sales, Ellicott City became a Pro Shop carrying an expanded inventory of instruments including Muramatsu flutes. • During the spring of 2013 we launched our first HOP event for this location. We were able to achieve our goal as a store and event as a whole. • I was awarded sales person of the year for 2012 for achieving the highest individual sales at +$500k, 101% over goal. Show less
