      Participated in the Research cruise SSD055 on RV Sindhu Sadhana with the purpose of deploying SREP (Seabed resident event based profiling) robot in the Arabian sea along with collection of seawater samples in order to determine the the regions of Anoxia.

      Studied the tissue-specific venom constituents of B. goanense involved in various ecological interactions. Characterisation of venom peptides to determine their ecological function and pharmacological potential. Pharmacological screening of these peptides against ion channels to identify the peptides that cause neurotoxicity. Gained hands-on experience in various chromatographic techniques, cDNA cloning, Xenopus laevis oocyte microinjection and electrophysiological studies.
