  - Led the effort to design a fixture for vibrational testing of a part- Worked with scientists, drafters, and other engineers to determine design requirements- Designed and built a prototype for an airtight aging fixture- Performed engineering calculations for 7 safety notes and 2 lift plans- Tested material properties of aged polymers using an Instron and analyzed the resulting data- Used Ansys FEA to inform lid design for a materials aging vessel- Wrote the procedure for assembling a complex part for an aging test, oversaw its assembly- Took courses for career advancement, including GD&T Fundamentals, Presenting Powerfully, and Materials Engineering Division Rotation Program Show less
