Traditional chatbots have made heavy use of NLP concepts like slot filling. In this work, we have used deep learning models to build a chatbot for flight booking. We first start with the task of Machine Comprehension, which is one of the most important problems in Natural Language Processing. There have been mainly three reasons for the recent advancement in this task. The attention mechanism, the concept of Pointer Networks to constrain the output tokens to be from the input sequences and character embedding to solve the problem of OOV words. Apart from these, Memory Networks have helped in solving multi-sentence reasoning problem and Reinforcement Learning has been used in the training phase as the optimization strategy when answer boundary is fuzzy or too long.
