  As the Criminal Investigations Division Supervisor/Sergeant, I am a working Criminal Investigator that is charged with the supervision of 8 Detective positions, a sworn Municipal Bailiff, Warrant Officer, 2 Civilian Employees, 1 Reserve Officer/Detective, and I support and fill in for the Support Services Lieutenant upon his absence. I manage major crime scenes, coordinate and execute search and arrest warrants, assign cases to Investigators, review and approve cases to be filed with the District Attorney’s Office of Collin, Rockwall, and Dallas County’s. Coordinate joint operations between Wylie and other agencies, supervisor over the Police Department’s property, evidence, and Crime Scene Unit, responsible for the scheduling of investigators and civilian staff, as well as report to County, District, Grand Jury, and Federal Courts. Approve and submit employee’s time sheets to payroll, experienced in department policy development, budget, team building, and training. Administrator/coordinator for Tip 411, RAIDS and Bair Analytics operator/administrator (responsible for public information sharing of local crimes, crime mapping, and statistics). Responsible for the Police Departments seizures to include; real property, cash, and vehicles. I handle all State, Local, and Federal seizure paperwork and accounts in regards to audits for the Texas Office of Attorney General and the U.S. Department of Justice.   Wylie PD-Wylie ISD (SRO) Supervisor (Sgt)

  Serve as the liaison between the Wylie Independent School District, campus administrators, and the City of Wylie Police Department. The Wylie Independent School District Covers 41 square miles, the district of more than 16,400 students serves the City of Wylie as well as families in the surrounding communities of Sachse, Murphy, Lucas, Lavon and St. Paul. Wylie ISD has 20 campuses including one 6A and one 5A high school, one alternative high school, three junior high schools (grades 7 and 8), three intermediate schools (grades 5 and 6) and eleven elementary campuses (grades Pre-K through 4). As the SRO supervisor, I manage the SRO program, coordinate work assignments of the SRO’s between various campuses, create budgets for the City and ISD as they relate to the SRO program, evaluate and plan for both short and long term operational direction, and work directly with the districts safety and security personnel. The SRO officers assigned to this unit are full time Wylie Police Officers who have a broad range of experiences within the law enforcement profession. With the current program, there are more than 84 years of law enforcement experience. In addition, the current staffing of this unit has a combined 29 years of working experience in the SRO program.
