  Actuarial and Risk Management Society of IoBM is an emerging society. It have been participating in all the activities at IoBM. Being the general secretary of the society, I used to make the agendas for the meetings about the annual society seminar and other relevant meetings, and used to report on behalf of the executive committee about all the activities. It was a small span of time with the society but its was a good experience.

  -I was assigned to make intimations of the claims and I used to do settlements also, once the surveyors had done the survey of the claim.-I also used to contact with the surveyor agencies and clients for any related matters. To preserve and manage the data in order to use it for future purposes.. I used to look over three major departments of underwriting i.e. Fire, Engineering, Miscellaneous. Some part of my duties included, making monthly sales report, maintaining premium register, making acceptance letters and drafts for the clients.
