  Chief General Manager (Rural and Agri Business): Prior to retirement from SBI on the 30th September, 2016, was driving the rural and agri business of the Bank across the country with a portfolio of over INR 125,000 crores (USD 18.94 billion) and more than 1.10 crore constituents. Also driving the Financial Inclusion efforts of the Bank with over 66,000 BC Agents and 116 Rural Self Employment Training Institutes where over 340,688 rural youth were trained in self-employment courses out of which 160,607 were settled and 59,945 were provided credit linkage. In addition, responsible for the efficient functioning of 14 Regional Rural Banks spread across the country with balance sheet size of Rs. 81,850 crores (USD 12.40 billion). Show less Chief General Manager (Special Project): Completed the task of Credit Skill Development, with a view to introducing new HR processes, to promote acquisition of desired credit skills at all levels and to align credit limits of various businesses with capabilities. This is a special interdisciplinary project for improving the credit analysis, monitoring, follow-up and subsequent resolution of the accounts both for balance sheet based accounts and project appraisals. The project had to factor in the requirements arising out of regulatory/statutory guidelines, Bank's Credit Policy, Risk Management guidelines, HR policies and capability building requirement at branches. Show less Chief General Manager, Bhubaneswar Circle: Chief Executive Officer of 821 branches/offices of State Bank of India in the State of Odisha. Responsible for balance sheet size and quality of over Rs. 76,000 crores (USD 11.51 billion), business growth, policy planning and implementation, relationship building with various stake holders like the Central and State Governments, other regulators, business community, trade bodies etc. During the period, deposits grew by over Rs. 11,100 crores (USD 1.68 billion) of which growth in Personal segment the growth itself was over Rs. 9,600 crores (USD 1.45 billion). In retail advances also, the portfolio grew by over Rs. 1,600 crores (USD 242 mio) with Auto Loans getting more than doubled from Rs. 624 crores to Rs. 1,271 crores. The Circle was reeling under high NPAs with GNPA being over 14.50%. This was brought down to 7.75% at the end of June 15 through proactive measures. Show less Dy. General Manager (Banking Operations), Corporate Centre: Set-up the Anti Money Laundering and CFT Centre of State Bank of India, the country’s largest Bank. The Centre gets alerts from CBS on a daily basis, as per the parameters/scenarios laid down and the risk rating of the various accounts. The alerts are properly analysed and if required, Suspicious Transaction Reports are submitted to the Financial Intelligence Unit – India (FIU-IND). The Centre also submits Cash Transaction Reports on an ongoing basis to FIU-IND and various scenarious are analysed and reported, if required. The Centre is a state of the art unit well appreciated by the Govt. of India as a “Model Centre” and other commercial banks were asked to replicate the same model. Show less
