  Part time child-minder whilst at university; responsible for a girl in Year 2 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Duties include; school pick up, organising and implementing afternoon routines, promoting her social and educational development through activities, games and reading, preparing and cooking her dinner and taking her to girl-scouts once a week.

  Care for Children - Asia

  Care for Children is currently undertaking pioneering research in partnership with the Chinese Government. This joint research study evaluates the impact of 16 years of foster care intervention in the lives of foster children, families, and communities in China. The Research study will gather data from a number of orphanages, which have well established foster care programmes. Key areas to be explored are: the extent to which foster care has become established in China over the last 15 years, the experiences of the foster parents and their communities, and the impact of foster family care on children and young people's health, well-being and development.
