      My role at Kate Spade (KSNY) was to collaboratively define, set up, and run social impact for the newly formed "on purpose" initiative. I managed the social impact portfolio of this CSR initiative in Rwanda, "on purpose", with a mission to empower women in the value chain to transform and improve themselves and their communities in Rwanda. I created and managed the social impact measurement and management of the program, including high level reporting for C-suite, field survey design, partner management, and dashboard and data design / management. Notable accomplishments with KSNY included:- Collaboratively defined a clear mission statement, framework for social impact measurement, and KPIs- Launched KSNY's 1st ever CSR Annual Report, and regularly thereafter - Created and managed a comprehensive visual dashboard to support management of program through Microsoft Power PI - and subsequent data management- Supported with data for several highly effective marketing campaigns, speaking engagements, and awards- Managed annual field surveys of 200+ beneficiaries and community impact surveys of 20,000- Co-designed and managed impact for the launch of company's multi-million dollar local Fund (philanthropy) that has supported over a dozen local Rwanda nonprofits in the community- Led several Landscape Analyses that supported pivotal programmatic growth and shifts over the years. I lived in Rwanda for 8 months to launch and manage the Life Skills training program for a social enterprise factory (started by Kate Spade's CSR) that employs and supports over 220 local employees (95% women) in a rural community in Rwanda. The Life Skills training program was the cornerstone of the programs social impact, providing wrap-around services and training to empower and support particularly women and their families. -Designed program concept and built from scratch based on interviews and vision of the international and local teams-Incorporated key metrics to build on early successes and ensure long-term success-Grassroots driven initiative incorporating local stakeholders, committees of employees, local NGOs-Set up peer educator model to empower women and foster a culture of learning and collaboration-Formed partnerships with 5 local NGOs-Empowered women in Health, Financial Literacy, Leadership, Mental Health Counseling, and EnglishProgram continues to thrive and grow in the factory, empowering the local women workforce (and their families) with skills and resources.
