  Loyalty Marketing Intern

  In my time as a Loyalty Marketing Intern at SIA's Lifestyle Ecosystem Department, I supported the growth of the KrisPay app (now known as Kris+) by contributing to the team's marketing strategies. I was accountable for the design of the marketing collaterals for several of our larger merchants (e.g., Esso, Bynd Artisan) using dedicated image-editing softwares (e.g., Photopea). In addition, I supported my team's pitching efforts to onboard more merchants and explore more diverse collaboration options by helping to prepare infographics and slide decks. My stint as a Loyalty Marketing Intern exposed me to the process through which the company aims to diversify its income stream. My time there also enabled me to pick up very handy skillsets where I had to design concise yet effective collaterals to market collaborations with existing merchants and to pitch possible collaboration opportunities with new merchants.   I was responsible for assisting in the testing of various initiatives to enhance customer experience through improving customers' frequent touch-points with the company. I worked closely with my colleagues to support end-to-end and in-sprint testing of new pages and features of SIA's website, as well as the company's in-house case management system, 1Point. I also assisted my team in administrative and coordination duties, where I helped in verifying users list and coordinating user verification of their system access.Through this meaningful experience, I was able to experience the Agile framework for project management and learn key processes of the framework. I was also given the opportunity to experience the process of Design Thinking, as I was tasked to review test cases to ensure that we have covered the relevant functions that will make the experience user-friendly for both our agents and customers.
