  My internship was oriented at supporting the Project Management O"ce of “The Europe-China Clean Energy Center Project”. It is a five-years project funded bythe European Union (EuropeAid - DCI), aiming at promoting an increased use of clean energy in China and to support the Chinese Government's e!orts to shape a more sustainable, environmental friendly and e"cient energy sector. I mainly had to support the EC2 (www.ec2.org.cn/) project's management office, including project’s Secretariat, support in the management of relationship with donors, stakeholders and partners; planning and monitoring of project activities, technical and financing reporting. Thanks to this experience I learnt how to draft interim narrative and financial reports in line with the European Union requirements and I strengthened my skills in managing communications and social relations in an international environment. In particular, I have to prepare Internal Reports to be submitted to the DG DEVCO for approval (i.e. Evaluation reports); to support the PMU Administrator in preparing and launching tender dossiers for projects of value < 200.000 EUR; to manage communication with companies both interested in submitting an offer or in charge of implementing a project; to monitor the Programme Progress Assessment and expenditure verification of the financed projects as well as ensure the timely payment of invoices sent by service providers; to take part to the Evaluation Committee for the assessment of the offers received; to run all daily administrative activities of SOGES Belgium SPRL.
