      One of 6 RAF recruitment regional managers across the UK. Responsible for meeting recruiting targets by leading and managing 40+ staff dispersed over 6 locations in addition to coordination of outreach and engagement activity (over 300 events annually). Led and managed 120 personnel supporting global refuelling operations of operationally focused helicopter airlift assets. Managed all support functions including: administration, HR, training, equipment and vehicle maintenance and logistics. Working within the Financial, Planning and Programming Dept of the RAF’s Headquarters responsible for ensuring that the Head of Dept was aware of financial risk relating to human capability, 30,000+ people and a budget of circa £1.5 Bn/annum. Operational logistics planner for RAF operations. Key projects included: Deployment of Equipment and Munitions to Operation ELLAMY (Libya), Redeployment of Equipment from Operations ELLAMY and HERRICK (Afghanistan) and Logistic support to Operation OLYMPIC (2012 Olympics). Deployed to Afghanistan and made significant efficiencies in preparation for operational drawdown. Led and managed 90+ personnel, ultimately supporting Tornado operations across the globe. Responsible for the control, management and provision of all industry facing logistics on base including compliance with receipt/storage and equipment issue regulations. Management of the logistic element of the support contracts with BAE Systems and Rolls Royce. Senior focal point for LEAN initiatives. Managed all RAF Logistics Supply and Transport personnel and activity in Al Udeid in support of operations in Iraq (Operation TELIC). Management of local contracts at a value of £500k+. Project Officer and convoy commander for successful explosives and munitions redeployment from Al Udeid Air Base to Qatar which involved 40+ vehicles and coordination of all risk assessments, contractors, local emergency services, military and Customs officials and compliance with all relevant policies. Office manager for the Armed Forces Careers Office in Wrexham. Responsible for all RAF recruiting, engagement and outreach activity across North Wales and Cheshire. Organisation and planning of recruiting initiatives. Management of marketing budget (£50k) and coordination of the Area budget (£250k).
