  ACCIS Summer Internship

  Worked at the Advanced Composites Centre for Innovation and Science at the University of Bristol, and in particular in the area of modelling failure of fibre reinforced polymers under compression in LS-DYNA. A new subroutine was written in Fortran to model fiber kinking and propagation of the kink band. User defined materials were used and the results were compared against IM7/8552 experimental data.
