      • To provide services and act as an advisor to the project management team.• Maintain the integrity of the Quality Management System• Promote a culture in which Safety is the prime concern and will never be compromised.• Implement the site SHEQ management plan and guideline.• To ensure that the project Management team is informed of all their legal and contractual SHEQ obligations to comply with the Clients requirements.• Co-ordinate daily / weekly SHEQ talks by the Supervisors with their respective work crews.• Supplying talk topics when required and ensure that required documentation is completed and filed.• Co-ordinate that all new employees are attending the Client / Site SHEQ Induction Training, and job specific Induction Training is carried out, and acknowledgement signed.• For all new contracts, minute the status of the mandatory Risk Assessments in terms of whether these have been received from the contract company in question and in terms of whether the client’s representative have received and approved the RA prior to work commencing.• Monitor all activities daily and advise Management on any deviations noted for the immediate action / rectifying thereof.• Co-ordinate the required maintenance checks and completion of the relevant registers by appointed competent employees.• Encourage the participation of personnel in all Site SHEQ Promotion Programmes.• Participate and Advise during incident / accident of any other investigations and ensure that reports / documentation is completed and records kept.• Compile Monthly SHEQ Statistics and supply written reports to Management and the Head Office.• Ensuring that all requisite interventions, training, campaigns etc. required to ensure that the Project SHEQ Plan is effected actually take place throughout the course of the project.• Co-ordinate all required training of personnel in SHEQ aspects.• Act as custodian of the critical behaviour inventories.
