  MahaFPC is a consortium of around 600+ FPCs (Farmer Producer Companies) across Maharashtra. It has been engaged in creating alternate market linkage opportunities for the member FPCs and their member farmers. MahaFPC is also a (Cluster Based Business Organization) CBBO for NABARD & NCDC under the Central Sector Scheme of Formation & Promotion of 10,000 FPCs. I am working as a domain expert for value addition with this CBBO under this scheme. I'm responsible for handholding the newly formed Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) through their business activities.Creating businesses that improve income of the member farmers - Although, Agri-input shops, commodity trading and custom hiring centers are for day-to-day cash generation, FPCs are encouraged to carry out business activities that also create an economic impact. Some FPCs are engaged in solar drying project - new market for farmers, in dal mill - new market, etc. My tasks here are:1) Monitoring & evaluating performance of member FPCs based on the given milestones as per Central Sector Scheme of Government of India - Formation & Promotion of 10000 FPOs2) Working on FPC Digitization project for MahaFPC & member FPCs3) Providing market linkages and credit linkages for various commodities of member FPCs4) Handholding through grant documentation procedures & business activities to member FPCs5) Organizing & facilitating trainings and workshops for the board of Directors as well as the CEO of the FPCs.
