  Extensive 3 years experience with audits of financial statements of Russian and global companies from many industries, primarily oil & gas, metal & mining, automobile Job responsibilities include:- Performing different types of audit procedures according to the International Auditing Standards, for example: checking and analyzing clients' calculations, tests of supporting documentation, analytical procedures, and other;- Understanding of clients' business processes relevant for the audits, such as purchasing & payables, production, sales, inventory, fixed assets, payroll; assessment of strengths and weaknesses in these processes, and their implications for the audits; also conducting meetings and inquiring clients' management and employees working in different functions;- Preparing or assisting client in preparation of financial statements in accordance with required reporting framework (IFRS, RAS, group accounting policies, etc.), including consolidated financial statements;- Assisting audit team managers in planning the audit, for example identification of audit risks, assessment of time needed for the project, designing specific audit procedures to be performed;- Managing, monitoring progress, and review of work prepared by junior colleagues, coaching and instructing them as necessary, keeping track of own as well as team's outstanding tasks;- Taking part in audit team's analysis of complex accounting questions, e.g. uncertainties in application of accounting standards, ambiguous accounting cases;- Close to the completion of the audit, preparing improvement recommendations for the clients' management regarding identified errors, control deficiencies, possibilities for process optimizations and other matters.
