Participated in coordinating workshops with rural farmers to help them share best practices in sustainability, yield and biodiversity with FIPAH, Fundacion para la Investigacion Participativa con Agricultores de Honduras (Foundation for Participatory Research with Honduran Farmers).       During the weekly summer publications of The Daily Tar Heel, I was responsible for a staff of 20-30 writers and editors and the production of the print and online paper. I led meetings to work with editors in crafting the content of each issue, including brainstorming ideas for investigatory stories. Working with writers both seasoned and new to colleigate newspaper writing, I worked to improve their voice and diction, their reporting skills, and their ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
