      SCAMPS Research Participant 2010:• Conduct research to phantom why the over all incidence of breast cancer in African American Women is lower than that of White American Women, however African American Women have overall lower survive and disease –free survival rates for breast comparison when comparing them to White American Women. • Discovery Day Presenter 2011• Conducted under Dr. Ely and PHD. Candidate Regina Wragg I was hired as a resident mentor the second semester of my freshmen year. I worked as a RM in two dorms both male and coed. In both residence halls I mentored over 25 freshmen students and helped them as they transitioned from home to college. As a RM I was dedicated to the quality of my residence experience within my residence hall. I not only maintained the floor but also built a community through various experiences by way of involvement in hall activities and campus events.
