      Aug 2007 - Jan 2016
      Community Development Manager

I have worked for Leeds Federated for nearly 15 years, the latter half of which I have developed the organisations approach to social investment work. With experience of overseeing a number of areas of work including environmental improvements, community projects, financial inclusion and anti-social behaviour, my most recent work has developed the organisation's approach to Digital Inclusion, Employment & Skills and Enterprise. I developed and currently manage the muti-award-winning HUGO (Helping U Get On) programme focusing on engaging individuals of all ages and helping them to reach their potential and achieve their goals through training, support, employment and enterprise opportunities both on-line and off. Mar 2014 - now
      Project Manager

Project Manager for Leeds Waterfront Festival, an annual celebration of all that is wonderful along Leeds waterfront! The festival has just celebrated its 9th successful year and I have been involved in it's management and development since April 2014. I am responsible for engaging partners, co-ordinating activities, fund raising and community engagement activities including arts and music events. I am currently working on plans for the 2017 festival which be it's 10th anniversary. Leeds Waterfront Festival 2016 is inspired by the heritage of Leeds waterways, the opportunities and the benefits of being close to the water. The festival stretches from Armley Industrial Museum to Granary Wharf, Victoria Wharf, Brewery Wharf, The Calls, The Tetley, Leeds Dock and Thwaite Mills in Hunslet and next year promises to be the biggest event Leeds waterfront has ever seen! The festival takes place on the last weekend in June every year. Show less

    • Catch Unlimited CIC

      May 2016 - Jul 2018
      Director

Catch Unlimited CIC delivered personal development, employability and arts engagement programmes along Leeds waterfront, helping people to feel better and improve their lives through connections with others and with the fantastic environment and opportunities life along the water can bring. We connected with businesses and individuals through Leeds Waterfront Festival and a variety of projects and programmes on board canal boats and along the tow path all year round. It has been a fantastic experience delivering projects over that last couple of years but with other commitments, I feel that I am more beneficial to other organisations, supporting them to deliver great projects.
