      RSA Student Design Awards: Highly Commended (Runner-Up) The Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce May 2014 My project partner Stephen Quinn and I were awarded 'Highly Commended' for our work on the RSA's Student design Awards project: Tomorrow's Workplace, which required us to design how the workplace of 2030 will look and be experienced.       Chair Extravaganza Winner with James Donnelan Remake Design Network Jul 2011 50 designers. Over 100 derelict chairs. 8 hours. The task in this competition was to create an original piece of furniture using old and damaged chairs as the source material. I based this chair off of a tradition style Amish stepladder chair, and it was created using several different chairs. We opted to leave the chair unvarnished and unsanded, as I felt the contrasting textures and colours of the original chairs embodied the competitions philosophy and style.
