HST is a non-profit theater co-op for homeschooled students, ages 9-18. In my role as a Web Developer, I built a new database and user interface on which parents can enroll their children and register them for classes. The website dynamically validates student eligibility for various classes using age, gender, previous enrollment, and other factors, and prevents parents from registering their children for classes for which they are not eligible. The site is also integrated with PayPal to allow parents to pay for tuition online.Technologies Used: Python, Django, MySQL, DreamHost, Git/GitHub, SSH, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, HTML Show less

As Pool Operator, I supervised lifeguards, coordinated duty rotation, and was ready to take charge in an emergency. I also monitored and adjusted chemical levels in pool water to keep them within Maryland state regulations. As Swim Lesson Instructor, I taught basic swimming skills in classes and private lessons for children and adults, while also ensuring the safety of non-swimmers. For youth classes, I kept parents informed of their child’s progress and answered their questions. Show less
