For example, "perang" in Malay refers to the colour name and war. However, this could still be distinguished based on the two types of /e/ vowel in the Malay language, which reflected a significant difference in its pronunciation among the Malay speaker. Moreover, in the Malay language, if we go to the northeast of peninsular Malaysia, where in Kelantan, there are homograph words in the Kelantan Malay dialect which reflect a word with a dedicated position and direction words in daily speaking. Differentiating these two is a difficult task for an automatic system to determine the purpose of the selected word. To do this with a systematic and reliable result of differentiating the two, we propose intelligent word recognition via deep learning in this paper. The proposed network method is ideal for training and validating word recognition accuracy by utilizing a new proposed dataset from male and female sample sounds. The proposed project's result presents an intelligent application of the Convolution Neural Network for Kelantan Malay dialect recognition with good performance accuracy. With a simple setting, an epoch of 10 and a batch size of 6, the average accuracy was 81.20 %. Show less

This grading of mushrooms also can be done based on five main criteria: freshness, maturity, damage, defect and uniformly size. Besides, machinery is also used to grade foods and may involve systematically sorting products by size, shape, and quality. The machinery alone is not adequate without an intelligent grading system. The impact of industrial revolution 4.0 invites the recent brilliant computer vision in various industrial applications. This project aims to model a simple grading system for a grey oyster mushroom which will suit the Malaysian agriculture industry using Raspberry Pi. The proposed work also targets to develop the grading system via a classification task of grey oyster mushrooms with a GUI as the interface. Based on the FAMA demand, the proposed work provided a good performance with 94% accuracy in the analysis and ready hardware for the grey oyster mushroom grading system. The grading system provides the farmer to select a can be sold or cannot be sold grade of grey oyster mushroom. Show less

Plus, the demand for images in deep learning during training and testing simultaneously invites a difficulty of a one-dimensional wave signal. For this, an intelligent system is designed for assessing rehab treatment in a novel way to see sound as an image. Firstly, the sound file is converted to the image profile. Secondly, since the image profile is crucial in sound analysis, the image profile with reliable properties is chosen, here, spectrogram. Thirdly, the images will then be trained and tested with a neural network as the brain of the product. The network will finally be embedded in the proposed GUI to help the rehab assess the stroke patients. The proposed product will benefit the rehab center as a tool for stroke patient assessment and provide an excellent start for the sound analysis field via image profile. The proposed product achieved 90% classification accuracy during the in-lab testing phase. Show less

In general, recovery and treatment of stroke patients require an extended time frame consisting of consistent medication and training or rehabilitation training. However, this rehabilitation process is still conducted manually in most rehab centres over the globe. Since the impact of computer vision in this science and technology over the last two decades, machine learning and deep learning have been injected into this medical field to assist rehabilitation via the new technology. This project introduces an intelligent vowel assessment for the stroke patient during the rehab session. Realizing the traditional vowel assessment requires an improvement, which is conducted manually, the project delivers a systematic vowel assessment system. In laboratory analysis, the proposed project assessment's result presents a good performance accuracy. With a simple setting, an epoch of 20 and a batch size of 6, the maximum accuracy was 92.96 %. This result reflected that the proposed method is still comparable to other comparative methods with only a simple network design and a limited range of image datasets. Here, the graphical user interface for the intelligent assessment system provides a simple and systematic assessment, especially for the rehab centre. Show less

This system is implemented by the usage of Global System for Mobile Communications(GSM) communication, specifically by using the Short Messaging System (SMS) to the user’s mobile phoneas an alarm. The system works when there is any sensor of car alarm system is been activated, and sendsnotification immediately to user mobile phone by suing SMS message. In conclusion, this project wassuccessfully implemented as far as individual part and combined projects is concerned. It is recommendedthat the system to be improved in future by adding a built-in G-Shock sensor that has five (5) level settingsand can record multiple impact points.
