      Seconded to the Credit Insurance Transformation (CIT) project at EDC in June 2015 as a Customer Experience (CX) Subject Matter Expert (SME). As a CX SME, my role is to think like our customers (Canadian exporters) and apply that lens to all changes and upgrades that EDC is making both to the Credit Insurance product itself, and to the system used by both customers and EDC employees to manage the credit insurance product.The CIT Project (aka. "Project Monarch"​) is currently the largest ongoing project at EDC. The changes to EDC's credit insurance solution, along with the new system for managing the credit insurance policies is set to launch in early 2017. Show less As an Account Manager with EDC, I had the pleasure of working with Canadian companies (SMEs) located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) who were either already exporting, or planning to export in the near future. My role was to ensure that these companies have the adequate resources to pursue global opportunities in a safe a successful manner - whether that was through providing insurance on their accounts receivables, working with their banks to free up working capital, or tapping into EDC's vast network of partners, market knowledge and resources.
