  Aviation Maintenance Manager

  The only aviation maintenance manager on a Defense Contract Management Agency, Aviation Program Team which ensured contractor compliance with defense acquisition regulations at four geographically separate locations across four states. I acted as a safeguard to department of defense acquisition program contracts which included aviation procurement, support, production, modification, and research contracts with companies like Boeing, Honeywell, and Northrop Grumman. The contracts in which I had government aviation ground safety oversight were valued in excess of five billion dollars and involved over one-hundred aircraft. I performed scheduled and unscheduled inspections with oversight of all contractor ground maintenance procedures and practices. I monitored aircraft repairs, re-manufacture, servicing, and movement of government owned aircraft. Additionally, I performed duties as the only aviation life support equipment technician in our organization and procured, inspected, and maintained all of the organizations aviation life support equipment. Throughout my tenure with this company, I had oversight of multiple unmanned aerial vehicle platforms, rotary wing aircraft, and fixed wing aircraft.   First Sergeant

  I served as the senior personnel supervisor in the U.S. Army’s only General Support Aviation Battalion in Europe. The organization consisted of approximately 350 aviation and aviation support personnel. My responsibilities included; planning training for more than 60 people who were charged with providing priority aviation mission support to the European Military Command, visiting dignitaries, and the subordinate leaders from all across Europe. I oversaw the completion of the their personnel actions, scheduled training and aviation maintenance activities, coordinated with subject matter experts to provide instructions related to personnel management, and ensured the safety of those 61 personnel. I acted as the principle advisor in the areas of aviation maintenance management, safety, human resources, individual training requirements, and the readiness of our organization to accomplish our assigned operational tasks. I analyzed, developed and implemented specific individual training plans for each of our personnel based on tasked requirements and individual needs. I ensured that our organization was prepared to operate and maintain 10 tactical military vehicles and 10 UH-60 rotary wing aircraft in all types of weather, across all European countries. Show less

  The senior advisor to the leader of an assault helicopter battalion located just outside of Seoul, South Korea. The organization was comprised of more than 500 people and 32 helicopters. I was responsible for managing personnel placement and overall talent management within the organization. Additionally, I collaborated with multiple agencies to plan and execute the maintenance and upkeep of multiple maintenance and living facilities. I planned and supervised the implementation of all individual training within the organization. I established networks with South Korean military organizations and often developed working relationships with offices outside of our organization to meet our organizations training objectives. I was rated as the #1 performer in my occupational specialty by senior leaders and #5 of 106 across the Army amongst my peers. I left this position when I was selected for a similar position with greater responsibility by the U.S. Army. Show less

  Presently the senior advisor to the organizational leader of the only U.S. Army Combat Aviation Brigade in Europe located just outside of Ansbach, Germany. The organization is comprised of more than 900 people, 40 helicopters, and 10 fixed wing aircraft. I am responsible for managing personnel placement and overall talent management within the organization. Additionally, I collaborate with multiple agencies to plan and execute the maintenance and upkeep of multiple maintenance and living facilities. I plan and supervise the implementation of all key collective training within the organization as well as conducting reviews of subordinate managers individual training execution. I established networks with military organizations and develop working relationships with offices outside of our organization to meet our training objectives. Senior leaders rate me as the #2 of 51 performers in my occupation across the U.S. Army amongst my peers. Show less
