Primary role is to analyse and report on a wide variety of traffic and transportation related projects of varying scale and complexity. Also responsible for traffic signal monitoring (SCATS), management of traffic surveys, intersection modelling, crash analysis, and road safety investigations.

  The majority of Nicky’s work has been for local government road controlling authorities and private developers primarily in Auckland and Hawkes Bay. She has also been called upon to assist GHD Sydney with planning and reporting for Sydney’s new southern motorway as well as assisting with peer review support and design advice for other NSW projects. Nicky has also recently worked on projects in the Philippines and Rarotonga.Nicky has a good working knowledge of Austroads, MOTSAM and Auckland Council design standards and greatly respects the Safe System approach and Safety in Design practises for the design and delivery of projects.Nicky’s wide ranging experience enables her to think of long-term impacts for clients and stakeholders alike. This helps her to consider a variety of project impacts during the concept and design process and understand the relationship between interdependent tasks and disciplines. Show less
