The EFB Administrator shall validate the correct behaviour of the OS and the EFB software;- Checking potential security issues associated with the applications installed;- Monthly verification of validity and expiration of EFB Application-Software and Database;- Hardware and software configuration management of the EFBs, and for ensuring that no unauthorised software is installed.- Ensuring that only valid versions of the application software and current data packages are installed on the EFB system;- Ensuring the integrity of the data packages used by the applications installed.- Permanent monitoring of EFB related system-behaviour through pilot reports and feedbacks and report system-anomalies to the FOM;- Permanent monitoring of services and standards of the hardware and software suppliers regarding system integrity;- Providing proper information to the CTM for the implementation of related procedures in the respective training modules, whenever amendments to the system are made;- Providing proper information in written form to the FOM for the establishment of standard operating procedures in relation to the EFB-System, whenever amendments are implemented;- Specifying comprehensive provisions in written form for implementation standards, system requirements, operational practices, policies and procedures, whenever the situation arises.
