  Project manager of Heilsuvera, the patient portal for all Icelandic individuals. Heilsuvera is a collaboration project with the Icelandic Directorate of Health, Origo and Heilsugæsla Höfuðborgarsvæðisins. The platform is used by over 200.000 Icelanders and was vital in the COVID-19 pandemic, since it was theplatform that allowed Icelanders to apply for COVID-19 tests as well as deliveringimportant information on the pandemic. The same team was also responsible formultiple software solutions that were used in the pandemic, including a vaccination system that was used for vaccinating almost all Icelanders in the pandemic. Show less Led a team that created a system for screening people arriving to Iceland for COVID-19, which was later used nationwide in Iceland for COVID-19 screening and creating certificates used for traveling abroad. Also a key player in creating a system for COVID-19 vaccinations which was essential in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic in Iceland. The creation of this system helped Iceland become one ofthe best vaccinated countries in the world and also gave the government good insights into how many were sick at any given time. Before the COVID-19 projects I was a lead developer for the main patient portal system in Iceland, which is used by 2/3 of all Icelandic individuals for communication with their healthcare, doctor’s appointments and drug prescriptions, for instance.
