Devoted 3 consecutive years of undergraduate summers toward traveling and training for U.S. Rowing 2021 Third consecutive year invited to U.S. Rowing U23 Selection Camp, 1 of 4 coxswain invitees. Lived and trained at the University of Iowa, in Iowa City, during the month of June.Committed 35+ hrs/week to the following responsibilities:• Steering rower selection process (20+ rowers)• Collecting athlete performance data • Equipment & facility maintenance and care• Managing drills and directing training sessions2020 Selected for a second consecutive year to train with the U.S. Rowing U23 National Team, dedicating 15 weeks (>80 hours) to managing & leading whole training sessions and small group performance tests in a live virtual setting.Provided correspondence for the 30+ rowers and 4 coaches in relation to the following duties:• Monitoring athlete attendance• Addressing logistical questions & concerns • Collecting and organizing data from athletes • Preparing training plans during offline hours 2019 • Competed for a spot on the U.S. Rowing Under 23 National Team• Lived and trained in Charlottesville, VA• Coached by the University of Virginia, Stanford University, & Yale University Women's Rowing Coaches • Dedicated 6 hrs./day, 6 days/wk. to the training process, and aiding coaches with rower selection • Gained exposure and experience to a top-tier, elite training environment • Developed new leadership and coxing skills, which was effective in impacting Triton Women's Rowing Show less
