University of AlmeríaHighlight activities:-Identification in castor bean plant of genes invoIved in oilseed synthesis and reconstruction of gene structures using bioinformatic resources from National Center for Biotechnology Information (Entrez).-Cloning of the different genes studied by means of specific primers design or, when was imposible its gene sequences, through RACE method.-Functionality testing of the gene products by gene complementation analysis (mutation rescue or citotoxcity) in appropiate mutants.-Heterologous gene expression in prokaryotic (E. coli) and/or eukaryotic (Sc. cerivisiae) systems with appropiate mutation.
