  All the stuff that happens inside an arena that's not the actual game - that's all scripted and carried out by a team of video producers, announcers, entertainers, sponsors...the list goes on.I helped write those scripts and, with the help of a great team, made sure our fans left with a great experience. One of THE original college athletic fan loyalty programs. It was an honor to coordinate this program in its early years. Texas A&M really does have the BEST fans in college sports, and I got to know many of them on a deeply personal level.

  All of the marketing and communications things! At this time we were a small department (3 people) managing the overall communications strategy of the school - public messaging, internal messaging, and all the platforms. As the Marketing team, we were also the main support system for school events, fundraising, and alumni relations. Still probably one of THE BEST jobs I ever had! The same as above - but I started as a part-time intern and was brought on full-time after a few months. Job duties remained the same, and the school rewarded my hard work with title promotions over time.
