Activities and Societies: Synchronization and performance evaluation of future 5G wireless cellular system based on the use of new multicarrier transmission techniques The aim of my Ph.D. thesis is the study of synchronization issues and performance analysis at the physical (PHY) of next-generation 5G wireless cellular system employing flexible non-orthogonal multicarrier waveforms. Because of strict requirements on synchronism, actual 4th generation cellular system based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) are characterized by a high out of band (OOB) emission and cyclic prefix overhead, which limits spectral efficiency, and high latency… Show more The aim of my Ph.D. thesis is the study of synchronization issues and performance analysis at the physical (PHY) of next-generation 5G wireless cellular system employing flexible non-orthogonal multicarrier waveforms. Based on this, the main motivations behind the study of new non-orthogonal multicarrier waveforms is that the underlying design principles synchronism and orthogonality of the PHY layer of mobile radio systems constitute a major obstacle for the envisioned 5G service architecture. Hence, there is a clear motivation for an innovative and in part disruptive re-design of the PHY layer for next generation cellular systems. Show less

AtlaMedico TechSolutions initiated by young business minds in August 2017, is a startup currently running under Indian Institute of Technology Patna Incubation Center situated in Bihta, Patna Bihar. It was also selected by Y4BIZ (youth for business). Y4BIZ is a platform where startups are selected through screening process to provide an online capacity building program run by the IC2 Institute, University of Texas, Austin for six months duration.AtlaMedico’s portfolio focuses on Remote medicare services for critical patients (ICU patients) and outpatients seeking personal health monitoring. It aims to facilitate the technological solution for people living in Remote areas and small cities where Critical care services are not available. Initially, it targets coronary critical care (CCU/ICU) unit services where 24×7 hrs monitoring of patients are needed. But in future, it will target most of the ICU services. Show less
