The MDF integrates entrepreneurship elements directly into the core engineering curriculum, bridging the gap between technical expertise and entrepreneurial acumen.This innovative framework equips students with the knowledge and skills to identify market opportunities, develop solutions to real-world problems, and foster a mindset of innovation and self-sustainability. By embedding entrepreneurial concepts into engineering subjects, students are not only prepared to excel in technical roles but are also empowered to become future business leaders and innovators.In 2019, the framework was adopted and implemented across all UniKL campuses through the Centre for Research and Innovation (CORI). It became a cornerstone of the Industry Driven Final Year Project (FYP) initiative, which emphasizes collaboration with industry partners to ensure students work on projects that address actual market demands.
