Jul 2014 - May 2015Consultant/ TAG Camp Organiser- Organising and project managing 'TAG’ (Teen Advisory Group) Camp 2014, a consultative research project run in collaboration with the University of Oxford, UNICEF and the South African Department of Health. - Working with 20 AIDS-affected teenagers to consult them on their health care experiences and practices through group programmes and activities that I designed. - Delivering key health care interventions to these vulnerable teens, as well as leading the teens in non-consultation related activities. - Filming the teens as a training tool to show government, UNICEF, international funders and future health workers the teenagers’ views on what constitutes best clinical practice: the film was used by UNICEF in its conference on nursing practice throughout the region. - Facilitating a session where younger TAG participants wrote to the Director General of Health expressing clinical best practice.
