Youth Business USA (YBUSA) is a not-for-profit business accelerator that helps underserved young adult entrepreneurs build their businesses. Over 11 million low-income young adults across the country say they want to start a business, but lack the support and resources they need to do so. YBUSA's mission is to prepare, launch and grow highly motivated young entrepreneurs who face barriers to business ownership. We do this through our "Pathway to Business Ownership" training, interest-free loans up to $10,000, and a network of experienced, volunteer business mentors and subject-matter experts. We know that talent is distributed equally - but opportunity isn't. Our support levels the playing field for entrepreneurs ages 18 to 29, helping them create local businesses, jobs and new sources of income for themselves and their families while learning highly relevant business skills. Our vision is that these young adult-led enterprises become a national model for job creation, equitable development and economic empowerment. Show less
