      Jobbet som maskinarbeider, der jobben blant annet inkluderte montering av motorer, pumper og thrusters. I perioder var også arbeidsoppgavene mine flyttet over på klargjøring og oppstartfasen av prosjektet, som inkluderte prøveturer og kjøring av pumper. Som TAF-elev, på Ulstein Videregåendeskole, ble jeg plassert på offshore-verftet ULSTEIN to-tre dager i uken for praktisk arbeid. Jeg jobbet meg gjennom flere avdelinger der jeg samarbeidet med andre fagarbeidere for å tilnærme meg kunnskap, som senere resulterte i et fagbrev som industrimekaniker.
