  Podcast Host

  For "Facoltà di Scienze MFN" I created and managed a podcast named "EfferveScienze". It was a simple podcast with short interviews with researchers, students, and professors of the different departments of Physics, Science, Maths, Chemistry... moreover if some interesting hosts was visiting Genova we were always ready to catch their voices.I defined the idea with the help of Giulia Rossi, and then Silvia De Stefano joined the team doing a few wonderful interviews. My good friend Augusto Destrero helped me set up the website which was hosted by the department of Computer Science thanks to my PhD Supervisor Alessandro Verri.Amongst the different interviewees, I can remember Carlo Maria Becchi, Giovanna Tinetti from UCL, Federico Rampini whom I met at a conference of Festival della Scienza, Giancarlo Albertelli who was the head of the Facoltà di Scienze at that time... and many others.   In the Innovation Consulting Division in D’Appolonia, I have been involved in writing many proposals and in the management of several research projects about solutions related with energy efficiency, renewables and ICT. Some of my activities were focused on the development of Market analyses and Business models in the fields of energy efficiency and renewables. I was the coordinator of HOLISTEEC project (EeB.NMP.2013-5-609138) that aims at developing and demonstrating a BIM-based software platform for optimized building design methodology. In 2015 I have contributed to the organization of a set of workshops for the dissemination of activities focused in “Climate Technology Transfer to Developing Countries”. In 2012 I have had the chance to take part in the activities for the definition of the Energy-Efficient Buildings Multiannual Roadmap and I have had the pleasure of being the chair of a few brokerage events organized during FP7 Info Days.In 2011 I organized and managed a set of Workshops with more than 150 participants in order to define and validate a research and technology roadmap on ICT for Energy Efficiency whose results have been presented in a final workshop organized in the European Parliament.   Since 2015 I have been supporting DG-CNECT as a reviewer of projects related to ICT, Computer Vision and Digital Industry, and in 2020 I have been working as a proposal evaluator.🔎 Thanks to my experience as a project coordinator of European projects I have a deep knowledge of mechanisms at the basis of a successful proposal. 🙋 Moreover, my communication skills are an important element for providing advices for effective dissemination strategies.

  In Konica Minolta DX Solutions Development Centre, as Comms Manager, I coordinate the development and execution of an integrated communication plan and I manage the content production of the related communication materials. • I am managing internal communication, to ensure that members of the teams (who are growing fast and in several different European locations) are kept engaged and updated with laboratories’ activities. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 lock-down I started recording and editing a set of video interviews to our colleagues to keep the team engaged and to support sharing of good spirit among the laboratories. Show less As a communication specialist for Konica Minolta Laboratory Europe I have created from scratch the whole communication strategy for our research team. • I have developeed the website for Konica Minolta Laboratory Europe and a one-page website for Konica Minolta Laboratory USA. Recently the two web pages were updated and combined into a unique Global R&D website. • I have managed the content strategy for our company’s Genius Blog and the press releases about Konica Minolta Global R&D announcements. Coordinating external agencies, I have developed the communication materials of the group (presentations, rollups, brochures, gadgets for events) and I have managed the publications of the whitepapers. • I have coordinated the participation of our laboratory into many international events (AI Summit of London and New York) showcasing our results and prototypes.• I conceived and coordinated the creation of a set of short videos ‘AI Pills’ focusing on presenting some of the research activities and projects developed within the lab (videos are available in the Konica Minolta Global R&D’s Youtube channel).
