      My undergraduate thesis was about urban greenspaces, their effects on individuals and communities, and the attitudes surrounding them. For my thesis, I preformed community surveys comparing attitudes between the residents of Kitchener, where I was living at the time and urban greenspaces were abundant, and my home town of Sault Ste. Field Assistant Traveled throughout Northern Ontario (Dryden, Kenora, Atikokan) recording Spruce and Jack Pine Budworm research data from various remote forest plots. Searching for Gypsy Moth egg masses in pre-existing urban plots in the Hamilton area and recording any data. Laboratory Technician- (MNR contract) 10/2008- 02/2009Washing branches to remove and identify Jack Pine and Spruce Budworm larvae from samples.
