  Activities and Societies: I had my 3-month industrial attachment at Shell Petroleum Development Company Nigeria Limited in 1995. I worked within the Vehicle Accident Prevention System team based in the Industrial Area at Ogunu, Warri, Delta State where vehicle use data was captured, processed and any pre-set limit violations were reported. Membership of National Association of Mathematics Students of Nigeria (NAMSN) Membership of Christian Union (CU) Membership of Baptist Students Fellowship (BSF) The main modules taken covered areas such as pure and applied mathematics, statistics, high-level programming in FORTRAN, COBOL & Pascal, and some social science courses including accounting, business and economics. I achieved a 2:2 with a GPA of 2.86 out of 5.0. My undergraduate project was titled ‘Simulation in Operational Research’ and I gained knowledge about the design of a simulation experiment and mathematical modelling.

  Activities and Societies: I led a group in developing the conceptual model of a data-driven enterprise software system. We used SharePoint for collaboration and defended our design decisions. I participated in IEEEGreen, the student body of the Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineering (IEEE), as well as, student membership of the British Computer Society (BCS). I obtained knowledge and skill in application development for the desktop, the Web, and across disparate and autonomous systems.
