As the Assistant Lecturer, I was trained and mentored in effectively treating various cancers through consistent case exposure in outpatient/inpatient settings and clinical oncology training. Several notable accomplishments are listed below: · Closely collaborated with surgical, medical, and radiation oncologists, nurse staff, residents, fellows, and study sponsors to develop and implement new clinical trials.· Principal Contributor to the study protocols preparation, submission process to IRB, and screening and onboarding eligible patients to clinical trials.· Educated and upskilled junior residents/undergraduates by facilitating scientific talks, presentations, journal clubs, and practical, hands-on training courses. Show less As a Clinical Oncology and Nuclear Medicine Resident, I was involved in delivering high-quality care for cancer patients based on the highest available evidence, depending on their cancer diagnosis. I was involved in managing their treatment side effects from receiving systemic therapy and during their radiotherapy sessions.I participated in journal club presentations, multidisciplinary tumor board meetings, target delineation, and radiotherapy plan evaluation.I was granted multiple travel grants to expand my knowledge and improve my skills. As a clinical fellow in radiation oncology, I rotated through different disease sites (such as GI, thorax, lymphoma, CNS/pediatrics, and head/neck). I gained a huge amount of insight and experience from training with top-notch physicians and scientists in the field of radiation oncology. I have coordinated high-quality patient clinical care services.A few notable accomplishments:· Evaluated radiotherapy treatment toxicity to recommend relevant adjustments and prescribe needed medication.· Participated in clinical conferences and educational seminars to expand and refine radiotherapy and oncology expertise. Show less As a Research Fellow, I have assessed and validated the multimodality of imaging usage in radiation treatment delivery and in researching treatment-related toxicities. My most important accomplishments are listed below:· Selected as the co-investigator in an intricate research study on the correlation between liquid biopsy and circulating tumor cells and functional MRI as a surrogate for tumor and surrounding normal tissue biology, treatment response, and radiation-related toxicities.· Steered the database management project in head and neck radiation oncology, integrating imaging and non-imaging data, as well as spatial and non-spatial information garnered from images through radiomics, to extract and include clinical data in the machine learning model. The model aided in the clinical decision-making and customization of radiotherapy.· Co-investigator in several research projects, focusing on developing auto-segmentation tools, image registration, and dose-response modeling to study radiation therapy toxicity.
