      Safety Manager

      1. Meet with and coordinate goals, activities, and schedules with the regional managers, vice presidents, and safety directors. 2. Evaluate and audit job hazards and assist field operations to eliminate injuries and loss producing behaviors and conditions. 3. Assist field management in identifying and complying with governmental compliance issues regarding OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other regulatory agencies, as well as, company and customer specific requirements.4. Investigate accidents and incidents in order to discover solutions to conditions that lead to accidents. Work with the claim manager to analyze claims, spot trends and recommend corrective actions. 5. Assist and participate in design, editing, and production of instructional and procedural publications such as the handbook, newsletters, manuals, audiovisual presentations, and etc. 6. Provide training to superintendents and foreman on safety, leadership and best practices skills. Participate in the organizational planning, administration and instruction of the superintendent developmental program. 7. Develop and provide safety-training programs in the field and respond to requests from the office management with any of their safety concerns. 8. Prepare special reports to all levels of management. 9. Conduct orientation and daily meetings.10. Inspect equipment and fall protection11. Conduct start of shift safety meetings.12.
