  Responsibilities include scheduling of clients with medication providers, taking medication concerns on behalf of providers, communication with insurance companies on behalf of clients, prior authorizations, as well as calling in medications. Management of department and staff.

  Responsibilities include managing all outreach advocates (around 15 staff total) in practice as well as monitoring their grant goals/progress. I also coordinate referrals, clients, on-call schedule, payroll, and volunteers in accordance with the goals and needs of the program. Additionally, I invoice for several of the grants we receive and adhere to strict deadlines with regard to reporting and documentation. I also provide an array of training to allied professionals and community members. Responsibilities include direct services for victims of sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking as well as raising awareness/prevention for above-issues; also coordinated a county-wide multi-disciplinary team on the county’s response to sexual assault.

  I’m involved with a pilot program to provide a victim advocate certification. My class is one of the required courses for certification. I teach Sexual Abuse Identification in the spring semester where we explore ACEs and the complex effects of trauma on the brain and behavior.
