  Assisted Home Loans, Pension Backed Lending and Vehicle and Asset Finance divisions to implement the required changes required by SARB for Anti-Money Laundering (AML). The program required that all customer information be captured and amended centrally so as to move away from each area building and maintaining their independent customer databases. I worked with the feature teams in a collaborative way and using Agile processes to analyse, design and deliver hundreds of modules that had to be changed to accommodate the new architectural patterns.My detailed knowledge and experience in the domains meant I was able to assist with solutions to the complex issues that arose specifically in Home Loans where the largest amount of changes were required Show less This was a very large initiative and required working across all the application teams in PBB SA and the infrastructure teams to build out and improve the non-production environments and processes. This program aimed at improving efficiency, reducing re-work, providing traceability, identify errors earlier in the development life cycle (i.e. before SIT) and creating smaller IT work packets to increase speed of throughput. By improving the throughput process, there would be improved costs and complexity of managing environments and testing.• To streamline development, promotion and testing of code by the creation of a framework and guiding principles, as well as the traceability and predictability of testing results.• Re-provision environments to enable streamlining of the above processes.• EPP was the first step in establishing the foundation for the journey of optimising the IT landscape.• Re-provisioning existing development & test environments to reduce complexity in promotion paths and support key stages of development & testing• Fit-for-purpose environments Show less This involved leading, managing and coaching the Home Loans team in both Technical and systems operational support. The day to day running of the departments, administration, introducing new processes and streamlining existing processes.Reporting to senior management and directors around the status of the department. Training, promotions, employment of new staff and where required reducing head count and department running costs. Monitoring / managing the department budget.Managing all the changes being introduced into the system and the support there of, up-skilling employees to deliver the required level of service to our customers. Introducing more engagement between the development and production departments thus utilizing the extensive skill base of the production staff to improve the development quality by involving production staff on development projects as early as possible in the development life cycle.
