One of the most important tasks was debt management and obtaining new financial resources and ensuring the financial sustainability of the company. In 2019 and 2020, we rearranged the organizational structure of the company. In the last five years (2015-2020), the company repaid principals in the amount of 800 million EUR and interest in the amount of 200 million EUR. We successfully managed the debt of 2 billion EUR and ensured the long-term financial sustainability of the company. In the mentioned period, we implemented an appropriate interest rate hedging policy and refinanced loans and debt securities in the amount of 400 million EUR. In 2020, we obtained a public rating from the credit rating company S&P, namely we received a long-term credit rating of ‘A+’.We smoothly implemented the DarsGo electronic toll system on 1 April 2018 for all vehicles with the maximum permissible weight exceeding 3,5 tonnes. The outdated system of collecting toll at toll stations has been replaced by a modern microwave technology sytem that tolls heavy vehicles with the help of gantries installed above motorways and expressways.Gaining international experiences participating in events organised by ASECAP (European Association of Operators of Toll Road Infrastructures) and IBTTA (International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association), actively cooperating with European motorway concessionaires and communicating with domestic and foreign banks (European Investmest Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development).
