Everyone was assigned to choose categories that will benefit foster youth such as Documents and Legal, Education, Employment, Fitness and Hobbies, Health and Wellness, Home and Auto, LGBTQIA+, Money Management, Persona, Pregnant and Parenting, and Travel and Exploration.   During this internship, I collaborated with other youth & the head of the Youth Development team in the LA LGBTQ+ Center to form a bridge with the youth being able to connect with the providers in the space. We helped make connections with the youth while also doing outreach to facilitate group workshops where the residents can learn more about their interest such as finacial literacy, meditational workshops, activities/clubs, free clinics, employment opportunities, etc.
