In addition, I learned how to meet each students' learning need that involved lots of hands-on activities, one-on-one and small group assistance from me, and also using Kagan strategies to introduce and review lessons for each subject.

  After graduating from Florida Gulf Coast University in December 2013, I was hired to fill in a retiring teacher's position in 2nd grade at the school I just completed my final internship for. As my first teaching position, I taught 2nd grade from January 2014 to June 2014. Since then, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to teach 4th grade for four years. Then I taught 2nd grade again for 2 years.
