  Wex is one of the UKs largest independent online specialist photographic retailers, and has a turnover of £55m. My wide ranging role which reports to the Finance Director extends across all areas of the business and includes responsibilities for Facilities and Health & Safety for all 3 permanent sites on which Wex operates, and for review of temporary sites including events and exhibitions. In Norwich, the two sites include warehouse, showroom, call centre, as well as the majority of head office functions such as purchasing, I.T. and Finance . Health and Safety Management for the business includes development of the Health & Safety policy and appointing departmental representatives which are then trained to implement the policy at the coal face. I also co-ordinate and chair the biannual H&S meeting with directors, and ensure action points are followed up. I ensure the company complies with all statutory requirements including reporting to HSE, RIDDOR, as necessary.Project Management from large scale e.g. replacement of the warehouse roof, refurbishment of staff areas, and small scale e.g. desk moves, minor plumbing issues. Packaging Waste Regulations, ISO9001. Supplier contracts, vehicle maintenance. Procurement of items required by various departments across the business including Electricity supplies, Kitchen and Cleaning supplies, safety equipment, merchandising equipment etc..
